What we collect from visitors

When you view a page or click an outbound link, we record: the path, a rotating visitor identifier, your approximate location (country, region, city), the referring domain, your browser's user-agent string, and the time.

The visitor identifier is a salted hash of your IP address and user agent that includes the current date. It changes every day at midnight UTC. We use it to tell two page views apart within a single day; it cannot be used to recognise you tomorrow, and it cannot be reversed to recover your IP address. We do not store raw IP addresses.

Location is derived from the network edge resolving the connecting IP before it reaches us. It is stored against the daily hash, not against you, and only ever shown in aggregate.

Cookies

We set no analytics or advertising cookies, and there are no third-party trackers on this site. The only cookie we set is a session cookie after you sign in, which is strictly necessary to keep you signed in. Your theme preference is stored in your browser's local storage and never sent to us.

What we collect from account holders

When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture. We store those, plus your listings, payment records and notification preferences. We never receive your card details — those go directly to Dodo Payments.

Who we share it with

• Neon — database hosting.
• Vercel — application hosting and the network edge.
• Google — sign-in only.
• Dodo Payments — payment processing.
• Resend — transactional email.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers. Aggregate traffic figures published on our analytics page never identify an individual visitor.

What is public

Your listing's name, URL, tagline, logo, category, tags, any numbers you report, the total you have paid in, and its click count are all public. Your email address is not, unless you put it in your listing yourself.

How long we keep it

• Raw analytics events: 12 months, then deleted. Daily aggregates are kept indefinitely — they contain no identifiers.
• Account and listing data: while your account exists.
• Payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, typically seven years.

Your rights

Email ubergeekady@gmail.com to access, correct, export or delete your data, or to object to processing. We respond within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your listings and personal data; payment records are retained where the law requires it, and aggregate statistics that cannot identify you remain.

Children

This service is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
